Bipolar 2 disorder
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Technically it could be possible as all 3 have overlapping symptoms. I was diagnosed last year with bipolar type 2 as I have had 2 manic episodes before. I also have autism, depression, anxiety disorder, etc that were diagnosed well over 10 yrs ago. But, that being said, always consult with a doctor. There is more in depth mental health evaluations that can be done. If you don’t think your provider did enough to figure out your diagnoses, get a second opinion. If you have more questions you can always message me! 🙂

It is not possible to determine the chances of your bipolar 2 being misdiagnosed as adult female autism without a thorough evaluation by a medical professional. However, it is worth noting that ADHD, bipolar disorder, and autism can have overlapping symptoms and can sometimes coexist in individuals. It's essential to consult with a healthcare professional for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
