Dealing with Biopsy Anxiety and Pain

I had a shave biopsy done on Friday last week. It’s in a spot that is under me when I sit at work. My thigh. I cringe changing the bandage. I am having horrible anxiety about it getting infected, even though I’m doing the correct aftercare. It also hurts. A lot. I had oral surgery that Monday. And every place the band aid angels I’ve touched because a swollen painful welt. I feel like my body is just attacking me. I am in pain all of the time. I can’t play how I used to with my child. And I can’t get in to see a specialist for my joints until next month. I’m just tired. And I hurt. And just need to know I’m not alone.

You are not alone. Sometimes it feels like no one can understand the constant pain. I look relatively normal on the outside, but on the inside I hurt all the time
