Just recently diagnosed as Bi Polar. I feel like it explains so much about all the anger outbursts I've had. Needing advice. I kind of hate myself! I've caused so much stress for myself and my family because I couldn't control myself. My therapist is making me wait before I can start medication for it due to breastfeeding. But I need advice for controlling myself....or maybe just some uplifting words.

One thing I have always learned is to never let your diagnosis control your life.

The biggest thing that has helped me is to give myself a minute before I react or make big decisions. You also have to forgive yourself for past actions. If that means apologies or acts of kindness or etc. Whatever you need to do.

Exercise has worked wonders. My exercise is hiking, but if i miss a day, it can bring me to a low place.
