Salt Is there a certain type of salt that’s better for POTS? I don’t know if there’s a type (Iodized, Sea, Himalayan, etc.) that works better? Or if all that matters is sodium in general?

I use sea salt in the early morning. A friend had recommended a cup of hot salt water first thing in the morning to ease constipation. It helps promote a bowel movement. For that purpose. Iodized salt does not work. Then the rest of the day, i highly salt my food (doc said okay to as much salt as i can eat but doesnt want me to use salt pills). I use regular iodized table salt for that because i find that i can apply more than if i tried sea salt (Himalayan i can add even less, to me it has a bigger flavor per mg).
I’ve heard and for myself use/eat Pink Himalayan. I read somewhere that iodized isn’t as good? But ya. And I think the Pink Himalayan taste better anyway haha
I have had POTS most of my life, as has my mother and grandfather. We haven’t found any particular salt that helps us more than any other. I’ve found it’s easier to consume more iodized salt than Himalayan though. It doesn’t seem to work as much in my opinion, it might just be in my head though!
