I’ve been on prednisone since 2017 however I’m now down to 5mg a day now. I guess it depends on your treatment and how your body responds. My Rheumatologist only up it when I have a flare and then ween me back down to 5mg’s

I am on the same (prednisone and hydroxychloroquine) but starting to not respond well to steriods... steriods aren't very great long term because they can tear up your gi system but are good for emergencies
