Hey!! I love weightlifting. It helps me grow confidence in myself as I see growth. I feel stronger inside and out! Swimming and biking are great too, and if you can I really recommend martial arts!!!

I'm just starting to try some very basic water aerobic-type stuff in the pool! Still figuring out what works, but it seems like it might be a good fit for strengthening my muscles with minimal impact- plus I'm autistic, and being in water/swimming is sensory HEAVEN for me, so hey, win win!

yoga for chronic pain specifically. i do it every morning and it helps stretch everything out and puts things back where they’re supposed to be. i’m also starting short bursts of strength training 3x a week. i alternate between weights and stretching for a couple hours and just play it by ear with how much i can take that day.

Physical therapy consisting of strength building in short amount of times, followed by obligatory rest periods. It helps with the fatigue while still hopefully building muscle long term.

Strength training like pilates. The muscle toning helps stabilise the joints. YouTube has some videos that are specifically for hyper mobile folks so you don’t overextend
