It was a very difficult road but you can do it, I am you in the future and I am graduating in 4 weeks. It can be very hard though. I worked 2 jobs, did research and did all my classes and it burned me out. There were a lot of days I didn't want to wake up in the morning because I felt so bad and looking back I don't know how I did it. One piece of advice is that you may want to try a smaller school. I went to IU and it was so big and I was very lonely and it made everything more difficult. I am taking a class at a smaller school to finish my degree and they are much more friendly and accommodating and it is less stressful

Very difficult balancing college and Crohns, but definitely possible. Just make sure to take breaks from studying often. I always got very stressed and that made everything worse. I did find that pharmacy school was more understanding of my disease than undergrad was. Although I went through the accessibility office and had help which was needed. I was able to talk to all of my professors and tell them I might miss some classes due to Crohns flares. And also was able to get some extra time during exams in case I needed to use the bathroom during them.
It's hard. I was working and being in treatment and in school until I took a semester off. Balance is hard, but possible.
