Has anyone else with thoracic outlet syndrome ever had a really bad reaction to a massage? I had bad nausea, sweating, a headache, flushed face, feeling hot and sick and needed to go rest. It came on suddenly during the massage and while I was laying face down.

Probably some products or scents in the room that might have triggered you. Hard to say but could be a combination.

I get these symptoms when I stretch. I thought stretching the scalenes were supposed to help but anytime I stretch that happens and I need a nap

Massages generally help my TOS more than most things, but I do get some of these symptoms when I have bad flare ups. Frustrating because it’s so hard to predict. Wishing you well!!

Yes this has happened to me and even after my surgery for TOS and still have that issue. I have had to just give them up
