So I just had back to back night terrors, the first one ending with my sister waking me up because I was screaming. I was kind of shaken but figured it was a one off thing so I went back to sleep and it happened again. Now I'm afraid to sleep and I scared my sister (for context I'm 25 and she's 34). Any suggestions as to what I should do next?

As scary as it is, this is your subconscious trying to work something out for you. I had night terrors and other sleep-related symptoms for a while. If it happens, try to accept support, do something extra nice for yourself that morning, and keep it in perspective. It also very much helped me to have a therapist to talk to about it. Just be good to yourself, and try to cut out any unsettling media in your waking life for now. I'm happy to chat more about this if you wanna DM me.
