Concerns about my health and mental well-being

what’re you’re feeling down about? i have a therapist and recently i explained to her how my diagnosis has made me really depressed and angry. i feel like i’m grieving the healthy version of myself. something that she said that really helped me was to remember that not all of me is gone and it’s okay be upset about this. medical conditions are something that greatly impact your life and often times the lives of those around you. but it’s not end all be all. there is still life and fun things that can come out of this. sure it’s not preferred and i’d love to not have the issues that i do but it’s my life now. personally, i just have to find the joy in what i still have and hold onto that. you can dm me if you want!
