Auto-pilot mode with bipolar and BPD

I get like this too occasionally, where I just go into what my boyfriends calls “space mode” - He could be in the middle of a sentence and all of a sudden I’ll just space out, staring out the window completely unresponsive because my mind is suddenly somewhere else - It gets so bad sometimes I wonder if I might have ADD…but I’ve never been diagnosed. I think it’s definitely normal with some meds as a side effect, but for me it was because I’d remember something from the past and actively start ruminating on it right there, no matter what was going on.
