Could I be on the Autism Spectrum?

I think I maybe Autistic or on the spectrum. At first I didn't know what the symptoms were so I looked it up and realized I have a few of the symptoms stemming back since I was a child. I asked my mum about it and she said I should get tested bc it would explain why I don't like to be hugged, I repeat sentences or phrases, or why I don't like to look people in the eye. My mum says that my doctor may have overlooked my symptoms to be mainly mental health. So my question is it that easily overlooked?

My daughter is 6 and clearly autistic at home, but she masks so well, nobody sees it in her at all. Not at school, not during evaluation. The most they said was check back in 2 years. And I wasn't diagnosed until a few weeks ago. I'm 41

Yes! I am guessing by y9ur name youre female, I apologize if I got it wrong but girls/woman are constantly misdiagnosed
