Cheaper ways to get screened for autism?

I'm not sure exactly how much it costs, but I've heard really good things about embrace-autism.com. It's online by an autistic diagnostician with a good team and there's a few helpful resources there too even if you decide not to get evaluated through the site. Otherwise I agree with the other commenter, asking your psychiatrist, psychologist, or therapist can probably get you a good recommendation or at the least tips on how to find a good place

Talk to your psychiatrist. They can usually give you a referral to a place that can do it for low cost. The only downside is the wait time for that is usually very long. Everyone around me knows i have autism, but my diagnosis appt isn’t until April 😭 if you want to talk to someone feel free to message me
