Struggling with Autism and Parenting: Need Advice
I was wondering if there was anyone one here that is autistic and raising children. I'm finding it very challenging and draining and I'm at a loss as what to do I get so overwhelmed and overstimulated I completely shut down fairly early in the day. any tips or advice would be very much appreciated I'm not sure how much more I can take... I feel like a failure and my children deserve better

don't let it scare you the struggle is so worth it! My children have changed my life for the better and helped me grow and learn new things as well it's really hard but so amazing

thank you so much for your advice I'll definitely try it out. It's been so hard trying to find a schedule that works for them as well as me. And I think that's a majority of the problem. It's just so overwhelming when I don't have one 😅

Hi! I’m not a parent but I have a sister who is also autistic and has 3 kids, know that it’s time that kids care about, maybe introduce your special interests to them, start out days slow, set nap times and people say screen time is bad but if you need time to sit and charge, use it
