I read the other comments. My only suggestion would be asking if it's possible to get noise canceling headphones so you could listen to something else and block out the triggers?

For me, it comes out when im stressed. I wouldn't think its possible for your autism itself to "get worse" its just your ability to mask in stressful or uncomfortable situations. Just remember its totally acceptable to take breaks from social situations and step away to compose yourself. And don't push yourself.
@FelixTE If only - Im currently staying on campus at a college taking classes for my summer camp at UGA. Its super stressful since we leave the dorms at 6 and are back by 9 or 10. There's 7 classes a day and it's a little overwhelming since im behind because i missed a day My roomate is my insensitive brother who decides, every night, to play some music with sounds that trigger me . This is the first time in a while that ive had a panic attack due to a triggering noise and its impossible for me to "suck it up"
@NeoEmberArts I would yell at him myself if I could. He sounds like a total sh*thead.
