So I’ve been thinking that I was autistic for quite a few years now and just recently got testing done and the ADOS test don’t a couple months ago. Finally got the results around a month ago and they said that I’m on the cusp of the spectrum. I’m like hmm… I’m my head I’m pretty sure I am autistic and seeing the results is conflicting because technically I’m on the right track but I’m not “autistic enough” to fit into the spectrum? But I do know that the ADOS test doesn’t really include research and testing on black autistic girls so idk honestly. Getting a second opinion soon

Maybe try the tests on embrace autism and talk to that doctor. They have a test specifically for masking along with their regular test. They’re in Canada so insurance may not cover the doctor if you don’t live there, but the tests are free on their website.
@rj.crow oh I’ve heard of them but I forgot the name awhile back. I been meaning to search for their site again to see if testing was available . It sounds promising?
