What Should I Know Before Getting Diagnosed with Autism?

so hi I'm in the process of (hopefully) getting diagnosed with autism somthing I'm pretty sure I have is there anything I should know when i finally find a doctor that does testing is there anything I should bring or trick questions I should be prepared for? (if it helps I'm 19 female presenting and Allready am know to be dyslexic)

i was very young when i got diagnosed so i can’t say much on the what questions they’ll ask you. just answer with the most information possible it helps them get a better scope of what’s going on. also to note some personality disorders can look like autism and same goes for a lot of other things so it’s best to just answer with the most detail so they can be precise in the diagnosis.
