Looking for advice on autism diagnosis

Hello, I'm looking for advice around autism. I'm quite confident I have ASD but I'm in my 30s and undiagnosed. Can any (female) ND people out there give me some signs you present(ed) which you believe are autistic traits? I'm trying to decide if it's worth going down the diagnosis front or if I'll be wasting my time. My 4yo daughter is currently on the waiting list for an ASD assessment and she's very similar to me hence the sudden trigger of thought in my mind 😊

I personally didn’t smile at anyone until I was around 4 years old. I had one best friend growing up, and no real other friends. I hyperfixated on certain movies and franchises such as Frozen and Monster High (would only talk about them, pretended to be characters from franchises all the time, all conversations turned to hyperfixations)

this sounds exactly like my daughter! She gets an interest in a particular film/tv show And she takes on the role of one of the characters all the time and constantly reminds us that she is that character and gets annoyed if you refer to her as her real name. She's done that since she was 2.

I'm an afab person in my 30s and have been seeking ASD assessment for a couple years but no providers within 50 miles of my home offer adult assessment. I learned about my traits from YouTube channels "Mom on the Spectrum" and "Kati Morton"
