Struggling with Implied Statements as an Autistic Person

I bet a lot of autistics can relate. My mother doesn’t quite understand how autism effects me and she still always makes implied statements and expects me to understand. She will say something like “The trash can is getting full” and expect me to know that she means “Go take out the trash” Why can’t people say what they mean 🤦

people do this ALL the time and they laugh when i don’t understand.. but sometimes i find myself doing this as well. good reminder for me to work on this!
