Does anyone have autism have trouble controlling their anger? I can’t regulate after something makes me angry, I stay angry for days.

I get frustrated and snap at people but my true anger hurts so I can’t say I get angry but I do get very frustrated or irritated and lash out

@minime273 I try not to snap at people which I think makes the anger inside worse because I bottle it up, but I don’t want to let it out as I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings. It’s not an easy thing to deal with

Me too! Honestly I bottle up my anger if I get angry in public/work & then I end up ranting & overthinking everything! But now I'm trying to not bottle it away & let it out instead of acting like nothings wrong when a co-worker makes me mad. And it takes a lot to make me mad. So when I'm mad, I'm mad.

@KatieKitKat I bottle it up too. I feel bad if I speak my mind though. They must’ve been shocked the first time you let the anger out 😂

@BrokenPotato I actually quit before that happened 😅 mainly cuz I really wanted to leave on a good note so I'd be able to get another job. The children's museum I was working in was very influential in the community. So going out on a good note was important to me. But no If they had done something to set me off on my last week I would've given them my mind. Cuz it was really just 1 person that bothered me the most lol
