I don't think my aunt believes that mental health issues are real and exist background: the other day i got a box in the mail I opened it and saw my medicine and said exicitedly that I got my ocd medication and she got angry and said that I don't have ocd, that I was disorganized and lazy. I got angry and told her that having ocd is more than just being organized and said that if she didn't believe me, she could look it up and that she could look in my closet. Then she said that my mom organized it. I said that I organized it myself and that if she didn't believe me she should ask my mom herself. She got angry at that.

Ugh that is so frustrating when people have such a narrow view of how a disorder presents, usually based on what is depicted in media. Like do two people with the same physical illness have exactly the same symptoms? No, so why is it so hard to comprehend that the same is true for mental illness?
@aevyn ugh I know! She apparently is basing it off of what's trending online at the moment
