Auditory Hallucinations: Am I Alone?

Does anyone else experience auditory hallucinations. I've never seen anything but during the day I'll hear my name or someone say hi when I'm completely alone. As well as when I'm trying to sleep it sounds like a bunch of people whispering all at once, scares to crap out of me.

Yes, I've been experiencing auditory hallucinations for about a year and a half

I've experienced auditory hallucinations, you're definitely not alone, they can be really scary for sure, and if you have a professional you can talk to about them I would recommend it, but for me they come from my c-ptsd

The sounds bothering you as you fall asleep sort of sounds like something called Exploding Head Syndrome. Don’t worry, EHS is not dangerous in any way, despite having a crazy name, if it seems like it could match part of your experience. It is something that I have.

I'll talk with my doc about it, I don't get them often it's about 2-3 times a week. Usually after a stressful day I've noticed

Not alone honey, if you're in the spiritual community you can consider it clairaudience. For the strict base of sciences it can be triggered by cptsd, migraines, or seizure activity. For me I have auditory hallucinations during a severe migraine or before a seizure at times. If it really concerns you definitely talk to your primary💖💖

Yeah, I have this really sucky one where when I'm about to go to sleep, someone will scream in my ear and I'll jump up, wide awake. Other than that it's usually pretty tame like hearing a phone going off or low music that idk where it's coming from.

I hear alarms and my dog howling more than my name, but I do hear that occasionally. You are definitely not alone.
