Questions about Atrial Fibrillation

can anyone tell me about atrial fibrillation, and does this last for the rest of your life, I've had a murmur for years, all the test point to atrial fibrillation

I didn’t have AFib but SVT, however I think the treatment is comparable. My dad had AFib and we had similar surgeries. I can’t recommend it enough! I haven’t had any pain since! I know it’s slightly different situations but I always advocate for ablations!

There’s a lot of good information on the American Heart Associations website. AFib is typically a life long issue. There is surgery that your Cardiologist can tell you more about, called an Ablation and if that would be a good option for you. Most Cardiologists will also tell you that surgery doesn’t always work well. Many people can manage quite well on medication.

they want me to take a heart MRI, I have had 2 heart attacks and have 2 stents, this is new to me, thank you
