Asking for Alternatives to Latuda: What Should I Say?

I want to figure out how to suppose to my psychiatrist that I want to try something other than Latuda - mood stabilizers, SSRIs, and other antidepressants don't seem to work, despite physical action as well.

I've tried latuda and just recently came off of it as it was making me MORE depressed. My psych suggested Rexulti and Vraylar. I also take Depakote along with mood stabilizers but everyone is different and may react differently to all of these. Your psych can do whats called a Gene Site test and take a cheek swab and see what medications do and don't work with your body. not sure how expensive it is, but its worth asking about!
