Hello friends! So I've been on this health journey much like all of you and have taken a very natural route as much as possible. That's typically my preference and it's gotten me very far but I'm still tired on some level all the time. I've started wondering recently if I should ask my Dr for a prescription to help me on occasion when I need to focus or have better energy. (Right now I'm studying for some licenses I need for work and am having the hardest time staying focused and concentrating. It's especially hard for me bc I don't remember having this much of a hard time when I was in school 15 years ago...) So my question to you all is, do you take anything for that? The only thing I know of that might fit that category is Adderall. I sort of feel weird asking for that. Are there other options? Should I not feel weird to ask for that? Any idea of my chances of getting it for this reason in your experience? Thanks for any and all thoughts/suggestions!

@A_Delicate_Flower no problems! I have a few friends with ADHD and they both go through a psychiatrist. Because it’s a highly regulated drug, an md won’t even try to get close to that

Hey ! ✋ I can tell you that after doing wayyyyy too many tests and nothing came back (as per usual) I did a sleep therapy and I have mild sleep apnea which depending on your age they might recommend a cpap but I’m 27 and didn’t want that. I contacted a psychiatrist whom on the first visit offered to try adderall and I can tell you that it has changed my life ! Since novembre I’ve been awake not suffering from sleep attacks and having the energy to work again !
@Marine1 very interesting! I was beginning to consider getting a sleep test. And I hadn't even considered a psychiatrist.. I was just going to see my regular MD bc I didn't know who else to ask. Thanks for the feedback! Super helpful!
