what are some good apps to help with grounding for panic attacks or oncoming/occurring ptsd attacks/flashbacks? I used to use an app call #selfcare but it was removed from the Play Store. if anyone has any good recommendations, especially ones like #selfcare, it would be greatly appreciated!!!

Some recommended apps for grounding during panic attacks or PTSD flashbacks include "Calm Harm", which offers a variety of tools to help with urges and grounding, and "Rootd", which is particularly helpful for panic attacks. Another app mentioned is "Finch" for self-care.

I use Finch. I love seeing the little bird everyday. I've been dealing with panic attacks and the fear of having them and the finch app has some great breathing exercises in the first aid tab. There are also some writing prompts that help get what I'm feeling out. I also use tapping solution for meditation. A little easier to stay out of my mind when I'm tapping.

So I regularly use the Finch Self Care app for a variety of things and for high anxiety and panicky feelings, I will usually do the breathing exercises and then some of the stretching because it helps reconnect me to my body. Then when I'm ready, I might journal a bit about my experience in the app. It's also very cute, you take care of a little bird who you can dress up, decorate their room, etc.

@DragonflyHKD I tried using the finch self care app but it wasn't for me. I'm looking more for grounding techniques than self care...although maybe I should try using that again 💀😅🤣

Free CBT can be good. Also Replika. I use an app called Finch which also could be good.
