Has anyone else applied and received SSDI? I just applied due to being disabled but I am scared that I will not get it. Any tips?

The more documentation you have for your disability the better off you'll be.

It took me years to get it and I had to get an attorney.

You more then likely get denied at first. Your best bet is to get a lawyer. It Depends on where you live they can take a hefty portion of your settlement. Just keep that in mind. I wish you the best in your process. 🤗

Lawyer was necessary for member first lawyer was useless. Wife was approved at first go, dye to mental health and damage done by a mental health medication. Also had a lawyer for her as well

I applied for temporary disability for a HUGE a flare of fibromyalgia, small fiber peripheral neuropathy, and OA that had me quit my dream job. I was granted it but I was advised to do that because it is easier to get temporary than permanent. It is possible though, just never tried it myself
