Applying for Social Security Disability with POTS

I have not applied for Pots, but 30 years ago, i applied for chronic fatigue. However Cfs wad not a recognized condution at the time. So probably same struggle. Id recommend, getting a lawyer. I didnt. Its amazing the weight they gave to ne just filling out the application by myself. It took me 4 days, but simply because I could fill it out to them meant that i could do productive work. I even had gone through our State's Dept. of Vocational rehab. The therapist said that he couldnt say that i cant do any work, but he couldnt come up with anything. Such a weird system. Answer. The determination has a huge dependence on a persons age. And since i was 30, i was going to be denied. Comments from numerous people indicate that if i had been over 55, i would not have been denied. Another big factor getting any doctor to say it was permanent, even though it had alteady been over 18 months and SSDI states permanent as extending more than 12 months.
