I have not, I am at 4.1, doctor has told me to lose weight and that at 4.5 is go time for open heart surgery. I also have some other valve issues with my heart, and flutters that might be a factor. I know the general rule is surgery by 5.

I'm at 4.2 and my doctor is not concerned except keeping my BP at 130/80 and it's been well below that so all is good.

I have 2, 1 that is 3.2 in the therasic zone. The other is 4.9, 1 inch above my heart. The doctor I seen didn't seem real concerned yet.

@DonnieRay it seems the one that is 4.9 should be a concern as they do surgery at 5.0 or 5.5 depending on different factors.

I wish I could remember the size of mine at the time but after testing, the Dr's found it to be expanding. I thank God that it was found before it killed me. How did you find out about your aneurysm?

@Mikefred found it incidentally when they were evaluating for other issues in the E.R.

@Mikefred Did you have to get surgery and how often did you get a check before you noticed it expanding

@Peppers_Wife when they noticed the enlargement, they had me come back in a week or two and saw it was growing. Then they scheduled my surgery. It was open chest and pretty scary to be honest.
