Can Anxiety Cause Tingling on One Side of the Body?

Can anxiety cause tingling on one side of the body? I am also getting a bit on the other side, but I'm super focused on the one side. Of course I think I'm dying...

Not to make you more anxious, but tingling or numbness can also be signs of a mini stroke. Just pay attention to what you're experiencing, and educate yourself. Based on my mom's experience, the tingling can also be caused by severe stress. If you're concerned about it, of course ask your doctor to look into it.

Hello, from my personal experience, anxiety triggers my migrains and my face and tongue go numb sometimes, along with my hand on the same side of my body. I think when we are really stressed and anxious, our bodies can do wild things and symptoms can present in a more physical way. Maybe call your doctor just to be sure though. And watch for other symptoms for sure.

it's been all day like this. I haven't had any paralysis or a droopy face. I'm afraid if I call my doctor, they will just send me to the ER. It's so expensive and I've gone in the past and racked up a ton of bills going. They always want to run every test they can it seems.

I understand, have you tried some breathing exercises? I do the calm inhales and exhales.Have you also had any other symptoms arise today? Is this effecting your ability to hold things at all?
