I’ve learned a lot of my anxiety has come from a deficiency in vitamin’s. Do you by chance take them? I started a vitamin regiment and the difference in the anxiety I use to have and the anxiety I have now is night and day. I’d recommend L-Theanine. Has done wonders for my anxiety and stress levels.

Hello and welcome to the community I'm so glad you are here! Something that has helped my anxiety is literally dancing it out or just taking a 15 minute nap or Coloring or sensory items.

@Bre19 I love coloring, my boyfriend has gotten me a ton of coloring books. I gotta get back into it, but I enjoyed it. I haven’t tried sensory items, is there any in particular that you tend to gravitate to?

@Linabear so it depends I like play doh usually but it's all up to have textures you can handle

@Amnesticginkgo I’ve been taking vitamin D & fish oil. I took valerian root for a little while & it seemed to help but I haven’t been able to find it anywhere. I was thinking of starting a multivitamin & see if that helps any, definitely will look into the L-Theanine too!

Hi! I'm new too. Iv suffered with anxiety for a long time and it gets hard sometimes. The way I use the most to calm my anxiety is music. It can take you out of your head and let you focus on something else.
