Looking for Friends and Anxiety Support

Hi I'm Samantha, I'm 32 and stay in Texas. Married for almost 6 years. I have severe anxiety. I lost my sister 7 months ago and it's been a STRUGGLE since than. 3 months after her funeral services I got diagnosed with severe anxiety and a little bit of depression. so I'm just looking for friends.. and been trying things to get my anxiety to go away or calm down. aby positive advice is always appreciated. but keep the negative to yourself

I hate when every one is in bed as well it is hard because I feel like I can’t reach out to anyone if I need it 😥 I hope you find some relief soon from the anxiety I know how difficult it can be 💕

1 month after my sister's funeral services I had anxiety attacks at night when everyone went to bed. 3 months after her funeral services my anxiety got worse. And I went to see a dr. And that's when I got diagnosed with severe anxiety

I suffer from anxiety too. It's a terrible feeling. The emotional pain is real. Medicine helped me a lot! Make sure you tell your psychiatrist about any anxiety or depression symptoms you're still having. It's their job to help you find relief. Also if you're having side effects let them know right away.

So sorry for your loss. The things that have helped me most with my anxiety and depression are: medication, some movement/exercise daily, well balanced nutrition, and a good support system. Hope you feel better soon!

Hi, I'm from Texas too. I lost my biological mother and was diagnosed with depression after that so I relate in a way to you. If you ever need anything or a friend to connect with, I've got you.

So sorry for your loss- that’s always hard no matter the circumstances, but particularly with the isolating qualities of the pandemic. This community is great, but I found that online communities surrounding things I love help a lot. Facebook is great for that. Also, having some sort of animal to love and take care of has a huge benefit for me and most ppl I know.
