Looking for Support and Advice for My Anxiety Diagnosis

Hi, I'm Jenn. I was recently diagnosed with anxiety to the point where I'm going on disability. I'm new to all of this so I would love to connect to others with a similar diagnosis that can provide some advice.

      I’m on disability for anxiety and depression, I think back in 2008 I was so bad with it that I’m thinking my psychiatrist wrote to recommend long term disability likely because he knew how bad I was struggling, but they denied me twice and in the second appeal it was granted.

        @UCBree how do you get disability with anxiety ? Iam battling for years its hard 😊

          @Johnj it was a crazy thing. I took longterm disability leave, and per the retirements I had to file. They said I wouldn't be approved but still had to. I was approved. They would have checked with my doc and psychiatrist. I've often wondered what exactly the notes on me said to get me approved.
