Anxiety over what to wear to work

I'm having so much anxiety about what to wear to work. I got transferred to a new store and I don't fit in as much as I did at my other store. And I'm in a manager role and I'm plus size girl and I don't know what to wear. I know it sounds silly but I'm losing sleep over it. Like the dress code was never made clear. some wear all black with a damn blazer and others don't. it's so hot in the restaurant that I'm sweating with short sleeves. I literally don't wanna go to work cuz of this.

This doesn't sound silly to me, I'm a plus size girl and I too lose sleep over what to wear, especially in the summer when I have to show more of my body. I have actually turned away jobs due to their dress code and feeling like I wouldn't fit in them right. So no it's not silly, and if it is then we are both silly 💕. I agree with the above comment- ask your manager for clarification on what the dress code is. I hope things go well for you girl!!!

Maybe you could call the district manager and ask him or her. Just explain the dress code was made clear and you want to make sure you are dressed appropriately. I know as a Manger I always respected when I would get a call like that. Also remember there is no such thing as a dumb question! Good luck sweetie!

I guess I'm just worried he's gonna give me bad news. cuz I'm so broke and can't afford to buy new clothes. I have to shop at torrid and the pants are so expensive. plus the other issue it's so hot in the office and the restaurant and there's not much I can do about that. also I'm pist at myself because I lost 80 pounds and then gained it back

I’m always anxious when things aren’t made clear to me like that, so I feel you ❤️
