Absolutely! The tension in my chest can last weeks! Which of course doesn’t help with the anxiety. Massages help me the most! I also see a chiropractor to put me back into place. But laying down and doing some breathing Exercises with my eyes closed for 20 minutes helps relive some tension as well.

Sometimes I experience pressure in the chest, sometimes a feeling of pressure in the neck and shoulders area. I consulted with my family doctor about this, who said it is a very common feeling in an anxiety attack: /

yeah of course! that's what the app is for! :) I find that when the chest pain is really bad (whether from anxiety or fibro), laying down and doing sort of a breathing exercise helps a lot. I'll lay there and breathe in as much as I possibly can, like really fill my lungs up to their full capacity, and let my chest expand outwards and then release. It seems to help relieve a lot of the tension.

I do! I have a chronic pain disorder called fibromyalgia so sometimes it's difficult for me to tell the difference between the fibro chest pain and any tightness from my anxiety, but it does seem to worsen when i'm really anxious so you're definitely not alone there.💕
