Struggling with Anxiety Medication

Anyone else have a hard time taking medication due to anxiety about taking medication for anxiety? It feels like a vicious cycle, to have a panic attack and then panic about taking a benzo to stop it. I've managed it a couple of times and you'd think that would convince my brain it's fine, but when I'm in the midst of an anxiety flare it doesn't seem to matter. Any advice would be welcome.

yes. i struggle with trauma surrounding taking my meds so it makes me feel like i physically can’t take them. i can’t keep pills down anymore bc of my anxiety and trauma. im still trying to find what helps me most but sometimes crushing up my medications and putting it in a food like apple sauce or pudding helps. i haven’t been on my meds in months bc i can’t keep them down (it’s not a medical problem i just get really really anxious)
