Looking for Anxiety Medication Recommendations

I take birth control, escitalopram and Lamotrigine together and my anxiety is really well managed. I still experience the anxiety but it doesn’t get out of control and I can tell it when things are okay or it’s time to worry for the most part.

My mom and I both have severe anxiety and the only thing that worked for her was valium. I haven't tried any yet but I'm hoping to start some- sometime soon! But everyone is affected differently

I'm on escotalipram, it seems to keep me at bay

I’ve taken citalopram for my depression however I don’t feel like it helps my anxiety. I’ve tried buspirone but I don’t feel like it did anything. And I will be trying ability soon.

I take a combination of rexulti and citalopram after years of trial and error it seems to be the right choice for me. I also take klonopin as needed. That was a life saver for intense anxiety. But really everyone is different and what’s right for me isn’t going to be what’s right for you or the next person. It takes time to work through different meds and find what works best for you. It can be a very long and very frustrating process and I wish you the best of luck
