What is your experience with taking Buspar for your anxiety? My psychiatrist finally wants to give me a medication for my anxiety, but I wanted your thoughts or suggestions for other meds?

Can you help? connect today

My psychiatrist just put me on gabapentin yesterday and I’ve been using propranolol for panic attacks in public. She wants me to wait and see what gabapentin does before she gives me buspar

I've been on Buspar for a while and the way I describe it is that it doesn't make you feel like a zombie. It's very subtle and a huge help.

It worked for a couple of months but gave me really weird side effects, so I had to stop.

It saved my life. I had constant low level panic attacks before buspar, and afterwards they went away
