Idk how anyone or you especially would feel about this but I got my kitten registered as Esa for my social anxiety and trained him to walk on a harness and leash as well as just sitting on my shoulder as I walk around I focus on him when I'm anxious he also makes for a great conversation starter and is helping me to pull out of my shell and actually talk to new people

Maybe take someone/something with you who helps you feel calm. And if not you might have to start smaller than going to a store and work your way up to that.

@PhoenixDown2334 maybe also like small group activities. So possibly not even going into any type of establishment, but just feeling more comfortable around people in general.

bring a comfort item, something small you can fidget with. my anxiety is connected to my ADHD so not sure that's helpful but lil fidgets help me
