Anxiety in Public: Does Anyone Else Feel This Way?

Does anybody else get such bad anxiety going out in public? Like I’m only thinking about worst case scenario. Especially with everything that’s going on in the world. I’m waiting on a gun shot or screaming or wreck or *something*. Like it’s completely inevitable that something awful is going to happen. Doesn’t even have to necessarily be to me but around me too. And of course the usual thinking my outfit is stupid or my hair doesn’t look good, I probably walk weird. Idk my brain just gets so loud when I leave my house.

Yes. I have horrible anxiety going out in public. It's not because of possibly getting sick or danger or anything, I just have trouble being around people

ALL. THE. TIME!!!! I used to be so carefree, going out, shopping, just having fun... Now a grocery trip can send me into a spiral. I have so much fear no matter where I go, no matter who I'm with. I try to keep reminding myself that I'm ok in this moment and that I'm safe. You are right, the voice is so LOUD! Some days are better than others, some days I can't even bring myself to leave the house... Sending you love and hugs and I pray that we can get some relief from our loud ass brains
