Dealing with Anxiety and IBS in College

Hello, I’m new here but I’ve been struggling with anxiety since 4th grade and IBS since my freshmen year of high school. I’m now a freshman in college and I’m trying to get all the help I can get. I wanted to check in and see if any of you guys have any of these symptoms. During a panic attack, my hands and legs go numb so that i can’t physically move my hands, my face starting tingling too. My chin will start chattering as if i’m freezing and I get so nauseous to the point where I puke. My legs shake so much I can’t even walk. I was wondering if anyone has any tips or has dealt with this cause I haven’t met anyone who physically pukes when they’re anxious . Thank you!!

I can definitely relate to this- being in quiet classrooms was a huge trigger for me (re: IBS) and I would hope I was in a room with some white noise so that any noises my stomach made would be less obvious. When I feel a panic attack coming on, my teeth chatter too and I get really shaky. My insides feel like they’re turning to ice but my outsides feel really hot. I don’t usually experience much nausea, but my stomach will do the “drop” thing that happens when you’re about to have diarrhea. Wish I had more insight, but just wanted to let you know you’re not alone!!

Thank you so much!! I had to start taking tests in separate rooms because if i didn’t i would have an attack. Thank you for just letting me know it’s not just me❤️
