Anyone else feel like anxiety has messed up your brain? Like I just don’t feel like myself anymore. It’s always hazy or I just don’t feel like I’m in my own body, if that’s makes any sense. How do you get out of that?

I have had that out of body experience as well. I used to lay down on my side and squeeze a body pillow for grounding while I watched an interesting show to distract me.

I totally feel you on this one...I get anxiety bc I feel so different than I used to. Like I'm a stranger in my own body

I get that feeling. Have you looked into depersonalization/derealization? There are many grounding techniques out there, I like focusing as hard as possible on my senses and trying to link my mind to the sensation my body is feeling. Tapping wood does it really well for me.

@Mop I’ve heard of that. I def need to look at some techniques because I hate waking up like this.
