At some point I started to think that it was better to think that the worst could happens and that at the end it doesn’t matter . The worst about anxiety is that you feel judged if anyone realize you are anxious, you think the worst can happen, you’ll get fired , or you can die , or have a stroke. I mean all the thoughts that cross your mind while you have an anxiety episode , at some point you can manage to say “OK, all this terrible things can happen , so what ?” If some thing terrible is going to happen, the worst ! Let it come !!! I don’t care , because what could be worst than death ?? You have to go further the anxiety thoughts , think about that the worst can happen, and think that at the end it doesn’t matter . I remember being stuck in traffic jam and start having anxiety of not being able to get out of the road of anything happened. Anxiety turned into a panic attack. So I turn hazard lights on, get of the car and walked to the next convenience store , bought a bottle of water , and talked to the cashier . I said “You know I am having a panic attack , if I passed out , could you please call 911 and this number ? My wife’s number . The cashier said “yeah of course “ and at that moment my body started to calm down , because I knew that I didn’t care if the worst thing could happened. And of course if you have a little 3 drops of rivotril you will realize you thrive for the day!

When I feel attacks coming on I sit down where ever I am feet flat on ground hands on knees Rock back and forth and breath it out most of the time I am hyperventilating fast so I talk out loud to myself saying breath in deep and slow it down out.. once my breathing slows I close my eyes and hum lightly to meditate I rock circular motion while meditating and remind myself it's all just in My mind nothing is wrong with me I am ok I can get through this I'm not This complicated. God made me differently beautiful so we could speak to each other.. I also thank God for giving me the holy spirit to calm me... Because most of the time anxiety is caused by over thinking about tragic situations or overwhelmed actions

Distraction and meds. If you're home, take a cold or hot shower. Whatever you prefer. Take deep breaths. I also use my apollo Neuro- which is touch therapy

I do breathing exercises. One that helps is box breathing: breathe in to the count of 4 seconds, hold the breath for 4 seconds, breathe out for 4 seconds, hold the breath for 4 seconds. Repeat for a few minutes or more. I also increase how many seconds on the outbreath, each round. This activates the Vegas nerve which is calming and so healthy overall.

Listen to your favorite music, focus on art and nature, learn about what's triggering your anxiety & pick it apart - don't be afraid to face yourself during these painful times, you'll learn a lot about yourself if you take a moment to live in the moment.

I tend to isolate when anxiety cranks up. Doc prescribed BP meds as alternative treatment (it helps, strangely). Sending warm thoughts to you🤗
