I've been struggling with really bad anxiety lately but have been so burnt out. Being so burnt out mentally has caused me to sit in bed all day because I don't have the motivation to do anything when I get home from school. I've been trying to get a therapist but haven't had much luck. Any reccomendations on therapists or ways to cope with the anxiety?

The first thing you need to do is be easy on yourself. It’s okay to have days where you don’t do anything. If you’re having a super depressed or anxious day, listen to your gut. In my experience, if I force myself to do things because I feel bad about being lazy, it just makes it worse. Sometimes you have to accept the fact that you want to lay in bed on your phone or with the tv and that’s okay. Take care of yourself! 💕

Is there a local Community Service Board or social services around? They could hello connect you with someone or a group possibly. NAMI has peer to peer support group meetings in areas, hopefully near you. I feel ya! Anxiety, burn out, lack of motivation.. chronic depression for me, plus grieving several deaths, including my husband. Sending you positive energy! ⚡⚡⚡🧘🏼‍♀️🧘🏽‍♂️🧘🏾🧘🏻‍♂️
