My anxiety attacks have put me in the hospital, and physical touch like hugs or cuddles help me calm down the fastest. But I’m alone a lot, or in a situation where the people I’m with cannot help me. What do some of you do

I use stuffed animals to reduce my anxiety. I like buildabears the best because you can put relaxing scents or sounds in them, and making them with someone special or even alone can give you that sense of preciousness. Holding them can remind you of that person or moment when you brought them to life! Also, you are supposed to make a wish on the heart of your stuffie, it helps so much if you make a wish of what you want that stuffie to do for you, that way your stuffie has a very specific and special job for it to do and it can help if you imagine it doing it’s job when you hold it. For example I have a buildabear who’s job and who’s wish is to comfort me and ease my stress specifically related to medical stuff, so being in hospital or getting new tests done. I always at least bring him in the car to all of my doctors appointments, so that when Im done I Can hug him super tight if I need to
Maybe try a weighted blanket! They are often used to reduce anxiety by replicating that feeling of human touch
