Antidepressants stopped working after 25 years, ECT treatments not successful

My antidepressants stopped working after 25 years and began ECT treatments. I only made it to 8. Had to stop as they made me feel so physically fatigued, sick, and completely not myself. I felt more normal depressed and anxious prior to treatments. Anyone have experience with ECT treatments? Good or bad?

I had 9 treatments of ECT summer of 2020, then 5 more fall of 2020. I still have memory issues and it did almost nothing for my depression.

Mental illness is a lifelong journey. Sort of a plague. It is what you make of it I guess...

I had ect treatments in the hospital in 2019. It was the last time I was inpatient after several years of inpatient and crisis houses and partial programs. I'm not how much it helped but nothing was working. I also got put on Wellbutrin. Once I came home I slowly got rid of some stress and even my fibro went into remission for a while. My fibro came back within 3weeks of trying to work again though. My depression has gotten bad again over the past few days so I guess the ECT and Wellbutrin worked for 3 and half years. That's good for me since I eventually become medication resistant on everything. I have been on a lot of different ones so need to find out what else they can try. I'm sorry I cant be in better help.
