Trying an Anti-Inflammatory Diet for HS Pain Relief

So I just found out HS (hidredenitis suppurativa) is caused by inflammation. And I probably can't take humira however I am watching videos on YouTube about meal prep for anti-inflammatory foods. I may have to give up a lot but it would be worth not having to live with this pain anymore. Lacey Baier with a 5 day anti-inflammatory diet meal plan is what I'm watching now. I'm hoping this helps me and maybe some of you. Gonna talk with my doctor about it too as should you. much love! may the Lord be with you <3

Over the last year my body has proved how inflammation has affected my HS. Learning to manage my blood glucose (after living with insulin resistance for a decade) has helped a lot. Those glucose spikes contribute to inflammation.

I feel you. A lot of foods that I love aren't in the anti-inflammatory diet. Plus it's just hard to afford for me right now.

The anti-inflamatory diet is about making changes where you can. You are still allowed to eat foods that aren't part of the diet if that's what you want! :)

I have hashimoto's and my husband has arthritis. We tried one antiinflammatory meal plan but it was way too low calorie and we were hungry and tired all the time! We decided to make positive changes more gradually for now but if you find any good tips on anti inflammatory food I would appreciate it :)

Hi there, the anti-inflamatory diet is not about being low calorie. Its just about changing certain foods to help you feel your best. Not about changing quantities. You should eat as much food as you need to. Always :)

I know what you mean. It's hard for me to try the elimination diet because I live with family. My bf said he'll help me with it once i move in with him.
