Has anyone tried an anti-inflammatory diet?

I’ve been recommended by a few acquaintances to try an anti-inflammatory diet. Has anyone had any experience with this?

For me it didn't help. I found that compared to my normal diet it required more cooking and meal prep. That took too much of my energy. I do better buying things that require as little prep as possible. But everyone's experience is different

I’m on day three of a low fodmap diet and trying not to be overly optimistic, but I feel great! The diet is restricting but I have no brain fog or aches to complain about. Next week I plan to talk to my doctor and get her approval to continue on it.

I personally started with the LowFODMAP Diet, which is extreme but you only do for a little while before reintroducing foods/food groups to see what YOUR body responds to instead of cutting out a bunch of things you don't have to. It's a great process for learning about your body and personalizing your diet. It's so much easier not to eat something once you know it makes you feel crap. And it'll surprise you! I have no problem at all with dairy, but I cannot eat an onion. It's also really great for figuring out what your body loves. I'm happy to chat about it anytime, and I have some tips and tricks for getting through it

thanks for sharing. I’ve read a bit about it and I think I’m ready to try it. I’m glad to hear it worked for you and I may reach out once I get started

I have heard of it but unsure how to implement it into my life. Sadly anyone willing to talk about it, does so at a price. With my situation, I don't have that luxury to pay someone to help me through that. I do know that night shade veggies are a no no. I would love if someone could point the right direction to learn more.

I found a couple of apps that at least categorize foods. One by color red, yellow, or green (best) to help you get started. And they’re free.
