Question about lower dose of amitriptyline and depression symptoms

I have a question for anyone on a lower dosage (10-25 mg) of amitriptyline. I'm on 20 mg and I take it for constipation relief and as a preventative for migraine. Has anyone on a lower dose noticed mild symptoms of depression? Since it's an antidepressant. I am not diagnosed with depression, but it's also likely that these symptoms might not be from the medication. I will be asking my gastro doctor about this the next time I see him, but I wanted to ask people who might've experienced it if it was possible to have these side effects from a low dose.

I’ve been on a low dose, now im on a higher dose, for nerve pain and I haven’t had those symptoms but I have had issues with constipation from it. My GI would like me on a lower dose but the pain is too bad at the minute. I would talk to your doctor(s) and let them know.

I've been on a low dose for migraines and have not noticed this! However, I have noticed drowsiness and some memory problems.

I am on low dose ami for dizziness and headaches. I haven’t noticed the side effects you are talking about, but it’s always a good idea to consult your doctor about it
