I see an acupuncturist which helps my anxiety greatly and the herbs he gives me are for a good mix of other health issues and anxiety! The acupuncture helps with ringing in the ears too!!
I think it depends what it's for exactly. Some things can get better just by diet and others just by making sure you get some relax time in. It really just depends
I would say therapy then, finding a good therapist for you, but do keep in mind some things are chemical and needing meds doesn't make you any less of a person :)
Therapy is great for almost anything that is affecting your mental health. I always recommend it even if your predominant issue isn't mental health (ex. You have chronic back pain that prevents you from participating in activities you normally love - therapy can help you learn how to cope)
